The new expansion of Tropicana Casino and Resort includes "The Quarter",
Atlantic City's "must see" retail and entertainment destination. The Quarter is an immersive environment themed around Old Havana:
Latin streetscape animated by plazas, fountains, music and live entertainment. Two
hundred thousand square feet of signature retail, restaurant and entertainment space
and an IMAX theater will be nestled at the expanded Tropicana Casino and Resort, the largest in Atlantic City.
The Quarter is part of a $255 million project at Tropicana which will link the Atlantic City
Boardwalk with a new 500 room hotel, 20,000 square feet of new meeting space and a garage with 2,400
parking spaces. With visitor traffic comparable to Las Vegas, Atlantic City nonetheless has no "must see" dining
and entertainment destination. The Quarter will fill the void and serve as the place to shop, dine and entertain for Atlantic City's 34 million annual visitor's.
